Negotiation Training helps people obtain the skills and confidence to negotiate agreements and resolve conflict early, so they can be more effective in their professional roles. They can also resolve differences before they escalate into money- and time-wasting disputes.
We offer training in interest-based and collaborative negotiation for attorneys, managers, policy makers, and others in leadership or front-line positions. Our negotiating workshops range from one-half day to four days; most of our clients ask us to conduct workshops that are from one to two days long. The workshops are highly interactive. Participants learn theory and negotiation concepts, but they also put the concepts in practice through a variety of negotiation simulations or role-plays.
We often provide training in collaborative negotiation at the beginning of a multi-party, consensus-building process that we have designed and will be facilitating.
