Mediation offers the opportunity to resolve domestic, personal and family conflicts while preserving relationships and saving money and time. So if you are getting a divorce or have already been divorced and are having post-divorce conflicts, consider mediation to reach an agreement. Litigation will be much more expensive and time-consuming and is likely to create more acrimony and damage future relationships. When conflict develops in domestic partnerships or gay/lesbian relationships and litigation is not even a viable option, mediation can be a valuable tool to dissolve the relationship or redesign the relationship to the satisfaction of the partners.
